Court House Farm Events
The delightful enclave of grade 2 star listed buildings that make up the hamlet of Court House Farm have an atmosphere all of their own, and being set within our developing 3 acre gardens and small flower farm - made it a truly unique location for our pop up garden and vintage shop, garden events / plant and flower sales and bustling artisan markets in pre covid days.
Sadly these came to an abrupt end, but we do hope to re create some elements of previous events and open once again.
The vision we had for our events still remains, it was to create something inclusive and culturally exciting - local, regional, creative, bohemian, warm and welcoming, with a mission to uncover and present the 'best' talent we could find, in both textiles, design, food, garden, vintage and craft skills. We hope we can once again welcome independent talented entrepreneurs and traders, with their enthusiasm and love of life, and provide a unique resource, some fun and entertainment for our local community and the wider region.
2024 Update
In pre Covid times, we held our wonderful cultural markets, which could be well attended, weather permitting! We also held the occasional specialist Textile focused event, which were extremely popular. So we are currently exploring ways we can bring back the textile/ vintage fashion type event on a bi-annual basis, more to follow on this in the near future.
In the meantime we are thrilled to have another summer of creative retreats with amazingly talented tutors honouring us with their time and enthusiasm, a real inspiration for guests who come from far and wide, both the UK and the rest of the world. These are residential events but we also open places to those who are local and who can attend on a daily basis.
